Will I still be paid for referrals?
You'll still be paid for every signup that comes through your link before 5pm on the 12th July, even if they verify after 5pm 

If you're waiting for payments for verified referrals, these will either be processed today or tomorrow. All other terms apply.

What will happen to people that click my link after 5pm 12th July?
​They'll still have a £10 welcome offer, redeemed after their first successful brand referral, but you won't earn £5 when they sign up.

How can I check how many signups I've had?
To check how many signups you have got, and how many are verified, you might need to check your junk folder to see our email updates on this.

Referral Terms

  

  • 'We' or 'Us' or 'Our' refers to Nettle. Acceptance of key conditions: By participating in our Refer a Friend Scheme (the “Scheme”), our existing members (“Referrers”) and the friends that they refer (“Referred Friends”) are deemed to accept the following key conditions.

  • Eligibility: Referrers must be existing members of Nettle. Referred Friends must not have already signed up to us, be an existing member already, or have been a member in the preceding 12 months, under any email address or alias. The Scheme is open to Referrers and Referred Friends who are residents of the UK. Over 18s only. We reserve the right to verify Referrers and Referred Friends, and require proof of eligibility.

  • Personal Link: Every member has a unique URL (“Personal Link”) which they can share with their friends and family. If you are a member of ours, your Personal Link can be found on your Refer a Friend tab on your online account portal. This can be accessed once you have verified your own account.

  • Reward: The Reward will vary by campaign. The active campaign for a Referrer is shown on their Refer a friend page which can be accessed via their online account portal. Additional terms applicable will be stated for fixed time limited offers as and when published, otherwise standard terms as follows apply.

Referrals and Rewards

  • Registration: To access the scheme, a Referrer needs to register first with Nettle. Once a Referrer has registered and verified their account, he/she will receive a Reward for each Referred Friend that successfully signs up to us and completes new account verification, subject to these conditions.

  • Qualification for Reward - Referrer: For a Referrer to qualify for a Reward, their Referred Friend must meet all applicable eligibility criteria and use the Referrer’s Personal Link to signup to us.

  • Referred friends upon invitation to join by the Referrer must validate their new account using a mobile SMS code generated by us to verify new members.

  • Members found to self refer using alias emails will have their member account terminated and rewards rescinded.

  • Referrals claimed retrospectively are not eligible and will not be rewarded. We are not responsible for failure to issue Rewards resulting from an incorrectly quoted Personal Link.

  • Qualification for Reward – Referred Friend: A Referred Friend who meets the eligibility criteria and results in the Referrer being entitled to a Reward will also be entitled to a Reward. This will vary by campaign and offers as advertised on our website will apply and differ time to time. Referred new signups must be completed and verified within 6 weeks of being made to qualify for a reward. Referred friend rewards of £10 will be paid once they successfully refer a brand to a new friend subject to confirmation by the given brand partner and satisfaction that their offer terms have been realised.

  • Account Cancellation: If the sign up to us by the Referred Friend is subsequently cancelled, this will result in the cancellation of the Referrer’s Reward and the Referred Friend’s Reward.

  • Notification: The Referrer will be notified by email once a Referred Friend has successfully joined us and Reward has been earned.

  • Delivery: Rewards will be delivered to the Referrer on, or within 5 working days of, the signup date for verified new members. Rewards for Referred parties will be delivered on, or within 5 working days of any subsequent successful partner brand referral made and confirmed by the given, applicable referred brand. The applicable reward value will be credited to the Member’s online Nettle account as a statement of record with a direct bank transfer to the nominated account of record held for the Member. Nettle is not liable for transfers to bank accounts incorrectly identified or maintained in by Members in their personal account page. Referred friend verification not confirmed inside 6 weeks from referral date will not qualify for a Referrer reward payment.

  •  Advertising of Personal Link: Bidding on any of Nettle or our related partner brand names, product names, variations, misspell is strictly prohibited across all search engines and social media platforms. This includes bidding on brand and generic terms, as well as broad match generic terms.

  • The method by which Referrers may refer shall be at the absolute discretion of us.

  • You are responsible for any tax implications resulting from receiving a reward.

  • The Referred Friend agrees that their first name and first letter of surname may be shared with the Referrer. The Referrer also agrees that their first name and first letter of surname may be shared with the Referrer.

  • By participating in the Scheme, Referrers and Referred Friends agree to use the Scheme in the manner specified in, and are bound by, these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety you are not authorised to register as a Referrer or participate in the Scheme in any manner. Users may not participate in the Scheme where doing so would be prohibited by any applicable law or regulations.

  • We reserve the right to modify, or amend at any time these Refer a Friend Terms and Conditions. Any amendments or new terms and conditions will be available on our website and the terms and conditions on the website at the time you use the Scheme will be the ones that apply.

  • We reserve the right to suspend or remove the Scheme, in its entirety, at any point.

  • The particular Reward to which a Referrer is entitled will be that Reward advertised on to the Referrer on our website at the time of the Referred Friend’s joins us. Rewards may change from time to time and different Members may be entitled to different Rewards.

  • Every Reward advertised on our website will be subject to these Terms. In addition, the Reward will be subject to any specific or bespoke terms notified to you at the time you register for the Scheme.

  • Referred Friends will be subject to verification and we may delay issuing a Reward (or a Friend Reward) for the purposes of investigation. We may also refuse to verify and process any transaction that we deem, in our sole discretion, to be fraudulent, suspicious, in violation of these Terms and Conditions, or believes will impose potential liability on us, our affiliates or any of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents.

  • Any decision made by us in respect of whether or not a Referred Friend has been successfully verified and a Referrer is entitled to a Reward shall be final and binding.

  • Rewards are not transferable and may not be auctioned, traded, bartered or sold. Upon termination of the Scheme or any portion thereof for any reason, or upon cancellation of a Referrers account for any reason, any unredeemed Rewards accumulated by the Member are forfeited. Rewards that have been added as credit.

  • to the member’s account is considered redeemed, and will be refunded to the Member on termination of a Referrer’s account.

Personal Links

  • If a Referrer provides a Personal Link to a Referred Friend by email, the email must be created and distributed in a personal manner that is appropriate and customary for communications with friends, colleagues and family members.

  • Bulk email distribution, distribution to strangers, or any other promotion of a Personal Link in a manner that would constitute or appear to constitute unsolicited commercial email or "spam" in our sole discretion is expressly prohibited and may be grounds for immediate termination of the Referrer's account and deactivation of the Personal Link.

  • We have a no tolerance spam policy.

  • We have no obligation to monitor the content provided by Referrers; however, we may choose to do so and block any email messages, remove any such content, or prohibit any use of the Scheme.

  • Each Personal Link must be sent by the Referrer and must comply with applicable law. A Referrer who does not comply with the law, including anti-spam laws, shall indemnify us against any liabilities, costs and expenses it incurs as a result of such spam.

  • Personal Links may not be posted or shared on review platforms such as, but not limited to Trustpilot and Google reviews, in order to protect the integrity of reviews.

Suspension of the Referral Scheme

  • We may suspend your rewards account at any time should you be in breach of these terms and conditions.

  • If we suspend your rewards account for any reason, we may refuse to provide you the right to receive any Rewards.
